Bee propolis, also known as bee glue, is a brownish resinous substance collected by bees, mainly from poplar and conifer buds, and used to seal bee hives. It has a long history of being used in folk medicine dating back to at least 300 BC. It has also been reported to possess various biological
capabilities, namely anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antifungal and anti-hepatotoxic. Chemically, propolis is exceedingly complex and contains a rich variety of potent terpenes and benzoic, caffeic, cinnamic, and phenolic acids. In recent years, propolis has gained
popularity as a health product and also has been used extensively in food and beverages. Propolis is believed to improve human health and to prevent diseases such as inflammation, heart disease, diabetes and even cancer.

Recommended use
Provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve minor inflammations and sores of the mucous membranes of the mouth (e.g. canker sores)
Recommended dosage (adults)
Adults: 1 Capsule(s) 1 time(s) per day
1 capsule daily or as directed by a physician. Consult a physician for use beyond 1 month.
Cautions and Warnings
Consult a physician prior to use if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru. Consult a physician prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use immediately.
